Description:
The main function of the oil level sensor is to monitor the height of the oil in the fuel tank in real time, so as to provide the driver with oil quantity information in a timely manner. Sensors usually measure oil levels by using the float principle or the capacitance principle.
- Capacitive principle: Capacitive oil level sensors determine the oil level by measuring the changes in the capacitance of the liquid in the oil tank. There are two electrodes in the sensor. When the oil level changes, the capacitance of the liquid will also change accordingly. By monitoring the changes in capacitance, the sensor can calculate the height of the oil level.
